The next collection is dedicated to the beauty and strength of all Latinas. We celebrate pioneer Latina women in the fields of music, film, politics and art.
Besides our super-soft designer t-shirts, we will be offering: limited edition silk-screened posters and tote bags.

Last Friday, we were very excited to have received a bag prototype. Unfortunately, it’s not to our satisfaction. So we headed all over Manhattan to find better materials. We are determined to design a product that we are proud of and a product that you will love. Yes, it is true that “God is in the Details”

Honestly, we could have just ordered pre-made, generic bags made in China (at a very cheap price), then print on them and sell them. That’s not what alfalfa is all about. We take pride in creating things that are beautiful, well-made, functional and make people feel good. This approach will take us longer and the road to travel will be harder, but at the end it will all be worth it. There’s no substitute for quality, is it?

We only partner with people that share our philosophy. For instance, our manufacturer in Peru also cares about ethical principles and takes pride in the product they make. We love that!
Friends, we need your help. Please tell us what you think of the idea of having your favorite Latin Diva on a tote bag. We are thinking of hand printing an extreme close up on beautiful raw canvas tote with stark black handles. The black and white tote will be chic and sophisticated yet fun and playful (just like the people we hope will carry them:)
